Casa Olivi - Treia House Restoration by Wespi Meuron

Casa Olivi is a dream home with spectacular panoramic views. Overlooking the rolling hills that surround the city of Treia, in the beautiful Marche region in central Italy, the former 300 years old house has three levels. The main building was half destroyed by a fire in 1995. A stupendous restoration was made by the swiss architects Markus Wespi and Jérôme de Meuron of Wespi Agency Meuron Architekten.

The exterior of the main building of the house has retained its original appearance, while the interior has been transformed into a stunning modern space decorated in neutral tones and flooded with light. The restoration thematizes the architectural language of the union between the old and the new, sometimes maintaining the contrast and sometimes mixing them.

The interior has on the ground floor an ample foyer, double living room with fireplace, tv room, dining room with a large oak table for 12 people, fitness room, bathrooms, dreamy Arclinea stainless professional kitchen and laundry. On the first floor there is a large hall and 2 complete bedroom suites with bathroom, closet and office. On the third floor plus 1 mezzanine, 2 complete bedrooms suites with bathroom, closet and large office.

The exterior includes a large terracotta terrace facing south, outdoor kitchen, grill and teppanyaki (Japanese barbecue), and an amazing infinity pool with spectacular views of the Marche, which was inserted with a clear geometric reference between the main house, the guest house and covered porch, remembering a great source.

It also has a guest house with panoramic views and a beautiful and vast olive grove.

The property is ideally located for exploring the region and for various activities that can be arranged for guests: Macerata and its opera festival, a traditional meal prepared by an Italian chef, medieval tournaments "Disfida del braciciale" - Treia, gourmet restaurants (like "Il Casolare dei Segreti" 3.5 km), wineries with wine tasting, golf (Conero Golf Club 50 km), horseback riding, hiking exploring the Adriatic coast, large commercial establishments specialized in brands shoes and leather goods, many fortified towns, churches, museums ...

Casa Olivi has everything one would expect from a luxury villa. Among other things, it has furniture created by international designers, Loewe film and music system, iphone connection kit and blue ray dvd player. This amazing house has been the subject of articles in many renowned magazines decoration, such as Elle and Côté Sud.
